The V-mount Movcam Base Kit for Sony FX9 includes a shoulder-mount baseplate, power distribution box, top plate, side bracket, and 9" dovetail plate. The baseplate features a small VCT-14 adapter plate that supports optional VCT-14 plates, which secure to the front of the baseplate and a hook slot on the rear, behind the shoulder pad. When the compact VCT-14 adapter is removed, the baseplate can be attached directly to the included dovetail plate. The distribution box provides a V-mount plate, 4-pin XLR input for running power to the camera, and two each D-Tap and 2-pin LEMO connectors for accessories.
The kit offers 15mm LWS rod support on the top, front, and rear, a removable rosette mount for handgrips, and a second rosette on the side bracket for attaching the Sony stock handle closer to the rear of the rig. A lens mount support is provided on the front for 1/4"-20 threaded adapters. Between all the different locations, you also get multiple 1/4"-20 mounting threads and ARRI Accessory Mounts.
